Psoriasis Tip - Moisturizing

We haven't met a person with Psoriasis where moisturizing does not help. Some psoriasis patients moisturize a couple times a week while others moisturize a couple times a day. The thinnest moisturizer to apply is a lotion. Lotions soak in the skin pretty fast. The next thickest moisturizer for psoriasis is a cream. The most thick moisturizer for psoriasis is an ointment. In terms of which moisturizer is best for you, we would recommend trying a number of brands to see which works best for you. Often, Cetaphil, Aveeno, Aquaphor, Eucerin, and Lubraderm are recommended by dermatologists.
